Darkbats Alenwen is our personal, creative fantasy series on YouTube, which was created as a passionate fan project. The series combines cinematic role-playing scenes from the world of The Lord of the Rings Online with original music and tells its own stories about the young Elf Alenwen and her companions. As a non-commercial project close to the hearts of the Darkbats team, Darkbats Alenwen serves to showcase their creative work to date and demonstrates how much heart and soul goes into their creations. To accompany the series, the website www.Darkbatsfantasy.eu offers all episodes, detailed character descriptions and background information – a comprehensive insight into this captivating story.
Darkbats Alenwen is our new YouTube series – an imaginative fan story set in the world of The Lord of the Rings Online. We passionately bring the young Elf Alenwen and her companions to life and take viewers on an epic adventure with lots of friendship, some challenges and a good dose of humour. The series combines cinematic in-game scenes with specially composed music to create a unique Middle-earth experience that captivates and inspires.
What once began as a small music project has quickly developed into an extensive series. Darkbats Alenwen was originally created to showcase our compositions – but it grew into a story of its own: season 1 comprises a whopping 12 episodes, and season 2 was completed with a further 6 episodes. We run this project purely as a hobby with no commercial intentions – a project of the heart in which we invest our free time and creativity. Each episode reflects a piece of our work to date and shows how much heart and soul we put into Darkbats Alenwen.
